Forest grapple FG-120 and FG-120S
Presentation
Fransgård Maskinfabrik's FG-120 and FG-120S forest grapples are manufactured in the well-known Fransgård quality at our own factory in Denmark. The two models are suitable for handling logs. Two parallel bars ensure that the grapple closes straight and does not dig deeper into the forest floor.
Simple and strong construction
FG-120S is equipped with open forks, which minimises the amount of dirt in the load.
The FG-120 is equipped with an intermediate piece between the forks, making it particularly strong to withstand the twisting that occurs with loads with uneven weight distribution.

Important details
Rotator
The FG grapple claws can be equipped with a 3-tonne rotator (item no. 1010 / Optional extra)
120 Claw
The FG-120 is equipped with an intermediate piece between the forks, which makes it particularly stable against twisting.
120S Claw
The FG-120S is equipped with forks that each have two tips that are extra reinforced.
This reduces the amount of forest floor in what you load.
Claw
The forks on all models are made of high-strength steel.
Main frame
The main frame is made of high-strength steel, and its construction, design and reinforcements provide extra stability.
Bushings
Lubricatable brass bushings at all pivot points.
Parallel arms
The grapple claw is fitted with 2 robust parallel arms that ensure both great stability and that the claws close together correctly.
Hydraulic Cylinder
Very powerful Danish-made hydraulic cylinder with lubricatable ends.
Mounting flange
The heavy-duty mounting flange has holes for rotator mounting.
