Chain mower FKR-150BF is an efficient machine for mowing/clearing fallow fields, central verges and unwanted tree growth in plantations, etc. The chain mower is built for both rear and front mounting on the tractor.
The large working width of 1.5 m and the possibility to adjust the cutting height makes it perfect for keeping growth down on the forest floor. It is fitted with 2 or 4 steel chains of quality G100, which are very durable without being too hard, so they won't crack if they hit a stone or other hard material. With a speed of 1000 rpm, the machine efficiently breaks down the material it encounters on its way.
Solid construction in strong materials
The FKR-150BF is fitted with a heavy-duty safety cover to minimise material spillage during operation. It is constructed with heavy-duty Hardox 500 wear shoes and a main frame built from Domex 420 high-strength steel. FKR-BF is available in 150 cm working width.
The machine can be laterally offset by up to 35 cm to each side. The machine works best at 1000 RPM on PTO and has built-in freewheel in the gimbal joint, which must be replaced if you want to use the machine front-mounted. Gimbal joint specially for front mounting is optional.

Details:
Chain head
All Fransgård chain mowers are fitted with 2 x 10 mm chains as standard. The chains are easily replaced by knocking out the 2 pipe splitters.
Gearbox chain head
The chain head is mounted with a steel hub on the gearbox axle. The axle is well protected by the leg of the cast steel gearbox.
Gearbox
The gearbox is mounted on a reinforced mounting plate, which is fitted with a raised vent as standard. The shield on the machine is built in 5mm Domex 420 steel plate with reinforcement of profile tubes on top.
Rubber guard
Durable rubber cover helps hold material in place.
Horn
The powerful horns on each side of the front guide the material into the machine. The horn is prepared for mounting a chain fall.
Side shift
Machines can be laterally shifted 350 mm to either the right or left side by moving the 3-point suspension on the hot-dip galvanised profile tube without using tools.
Towing shoes
Large and wide wear shoes in the front of the hardox-500 are designed to slide easily over tree stumps, etc., smaller wear shoes are fitted at the rear.
Rear-mounted
The FKR-150BF comes with a gimbal joint with freewheel as standard, which is rear-mounted for towing. The machine can be set for rear mounting for backwards pushing by swapping the horn and rubber cover.
Front-mounted
Machine can be converted to front mounting by swapping the horn and rubber guard and replacing the gimbal joint with freewheel at the gearbox. Front gimbal joint is an optional extra (item no. 62208)
