Since its introduction in Sweden in 2003, Fransgård's popular swath wilters have been continuously developed and adapted to the needs of customers, while more and more markets have become aware of the machine and its qualities, which has made Fransgård the market leader in this machine.
The swath wilter is available in 2 models with either a v-belt or chain drive. Both models can be used to great advantage in grass, hay or straw and leave a high airy swath without impurities such as soil and stones. In short, you achieve: BETTER CROP QUALITY
The rotor is driven by 4 strong v-belts. It is fitted with a fixed 3-point suspension that can be tilted and swivel wheels. The large swath guards make it possible to move the swath up to 80 cm. The SV-2500CD has the same basic design as the SV-2500, but with chain drives instead of v-belts.

The large, heavy swath guards are mounted in a reinforced bracket with 2 bolts and nuts.
The main bolt of the 3-point suspension is galvanised and greasable, ensuring a long service life.
35 mm drive shaft between the gearbox and brake wheel ensures optimal operation of the machine.
The draw spring, which is mounted on the wheel bracket, provides a smooth movement of the wheel fork and ensures that the wheels are always turned during transport.
There is a cast flange bearing at each end of the rotor that can be easily greased from the outside.
The robust angular gearbox has a standard vented plug and is well protected in the main frame.
The swivel wheel suspension can be adjusted in height without using tools.
The shield above the rotor has a robust arched design with a curved edge on top. It is made in Domex 420 steel quality.
Cut-outs in the v-belt guard allow easy access for lubricating the flanged bearings.
2 hole brackets on the top of the shield allow for a customised adjustment of the swath guards.
The 4 XPB v-belts are tightened via the large tightening wheel to provide optimal operation. The placement of the tensioning wheel helps to get even more power out of the belt drive.
The v-belt guard protects the belts well and is fitted with a service hatch for checking the belts.
SV-2500CD has a chain drive and automatic brush lubrication instead of v-belts. This machine is also fitted with a spring bolt in the gimbal joint at the gearbox.
The 2 lifting straps relieve the 3-point suspension during transport and can be adjusted via a spindle.
The SV-2500 is fitted with 2 lifting eyes for towing the machine.
The PTO hook for use during machine parking is fitted as standard and is easily turned to the side when the machine is in operation.
The belt tensioner on the SV-2500 is easily operated from the outside of the machine.
The rotor of the machine has 10 reinforcements mounted inside.
The 72 close-fitting pick-up springs have a small bend at the edge and are spaced equally to the shield all round, ensuring optimum flow through the machine and a perfect swath.
The most powerful rotor on the market has 6 rows of springs and a diameter of 80 cm.
The spring rows can be replaced individually, as can the 72 springs.
The 3-point suspension can be tilted to the right or left side, allowing the swath to be moved up to 80 cm to either side.
Wide and close-fitting guards around the ends of the rotor ensure that the material does not twist around at the ends.
The guard at the bottom of the shield can be removed to provide a 10 cm larger input into the machine, which is a great advantage when working in larger material volumes.
The large swath guards have a rolled arch at the bottom and thereby help to form a high airy swath. The guards can be moved in and out according to the amount of material and the desired position of the swath.
2 powerful spindles mounted at the top of the 3-point suspension adjust the lifting straps, relieving it during transport.
The bracket for tilting the 3-point suspension is operated without use.
The galvanised bar for adjusting the swath guard can be fitted in 6 holes on the machine and 3 holes on the swath guard
Support legs for parking the machine are easily raised when the machine is connected and are thus always on the machine.
The top bar attachment has both a fixed hole and an elongated slot. The elongated slot makes the machine follow the terrain better when working on hilly fields.
The very strong 3-point suspension is rolled in a hollow profile, which provides both high strength and a simple beautiful design.
