Log Grapple SK-950 · SK-1400
Presentation
An SK log grapple can be used for handling both shortened logs and cut branches. This provides great flexibility with the same machine, making it easier to clear the forest floor by quickly switching between moving large piles of branches and twigs and then moving and loading cut logs.
Flexible and efficient
Fransgård's SK log grapple is available in 2 different models: SK-950 and SK-1400. The SK-950 has a maximum opening of 95 cm, and the large SK-1400 has a maximum opening of 140 cm.
Both models are supplied without suspension fittings, which must be purchased separately. We offer suspension fittings in 6 standard versions: Euro hitch, SMS hitch, Bobcat hitch, A-frame hitch, Schäffer hitch and a welding bracket for attaching other types of hitches.

Prepared for fittings
The frame of the log grapple is prepared for various mounting fittings to be bolted on.
Fork
The base is designed as a 2-pronged fork with reinforcements, which provide a very stable grip in the log.
Clamp
The wide clamp with many lateral reinforcements ensures a good grip of the material.
Support foot
The clamp acts as a support foot when the grapple is fully closed and the tool can be parked without the use of support.
Bolts
All bolts on the log grapple are galvanised. Bolts with lubrication nipples and bronze bushes are fitted in the swivel joints
Cylinder
The powerful vertical cylinder requires a double-acting connector and ensures that the material is held firmly.
Main frame
The sturdy main frame, consist of several horizontal profile and a good shielding of the cylinder.
