The FKR-150 chain mower is suitable for clearing forest roads, ditches, roadsides, etc. Despite its distance of 3.25 m from the centre of the tractor, it is a robust and flexible mulcher suitable for working on smaller forest roads and where space is at a premium. It also handles tasks such as ditches, roadside verges, watercourses and windbreaks from 1.5 m to 3.0 m in height.
The machine is very flexible with a working angle of 35° downwards and 90° upwards. The chain mower's working range is from 2.4 m to 3.4 m from the centre of the tractor. This makes Fransgård's FKR-150 the most flexible chain mower on the market for narrow forest roads.
The machine has very low operating and maintenance costs and therefore offers great benefits to the user.
The chain mower has 2 steel chains in G100 quality, which rotate at a speed of 1500 rpm. Power transmission is by belt drive with a three-track powerbelt. In addition to transmitting high power to the work, it absorbs vibrations coming from the chains.
The wear shoe is made of Hardox 500 and the main frame is made of Domex 420 high-strength steel. There is also a reinforced rubber cover fitted to the back.
The machine has a standard hydraulic offset adjustment of 100 cm and is driven by a PTO axle and a powerful 3-track powerbelt.

All Fransgård chain mowers have 2 x 10 mm chains as standard. The chains are easily changed by knocking out the 2 pipe splitters.
The powerful cylinder ensures optimal operation of the machine
The cylinder is mounted in an elongated hole so that the machine follows the terrain as closely as possible during work.
The greasable swivel joint is mounted on a 75 mm axle and 2 half arches made of special steel and fitted with greasable bolts.
All assembly bolts mounted on the FKR-150 are galvanised.
The chain head is mounted with a steel hub on the gearbox axle, and the axle is well protected by the leg of the steel cast gearbox.
The gearbox, which is mounted on a reinforced mounting plate, is fitted with a raised vent as standard. The shield on the machine is built in 5 mm Domex 420 steel plate with reinforcement of profile tubes on top.
Durable rubber cover mounted on the back, which helps to hold the material.
The powerful horns on each side of the front guide the material into the machine. The horn is prepared for mounting a chain fall.
The machine has hydraulic offset adjustment of up to 100 cm.
The adjustment bolt for the large pulley ensures that you always have a 100% straight drive line on the power belt.
The tilting cylinder is fitted with a locking valve with a handle, which is activated during transport and ensures that the machine does not fold out.
The 3-point suspension has a galvanised hook for the PTO axle when the machine is parked. The hook is easily turned away when the machine is working.
To relieve the machine from impact during work, the 3-point suspension has 2 springs that are released and pull the machine back into place.
Ventilated belt guard with a wear shoe to protect the screen during work.
The external belt tensioner makes it easy to tighten the belt.
The belt guard has a service hole to check if the belt is tightened.
The chain mower is clearly marked with large yellow safety warnings.
Hydraulic hose holder is standard on the FKR-150.
The large and wide front wear shoes, made of Hardox 500, are designed to easily slide up over tree stumps, etc. Smaller wear shoes are fitted at the rear.
The 2 support legs ensure stable parking of the machine and they are easily lifted up during work, so they are always accessible on the machine.
The top bar attachment on the FKR has both a fixed and an elongated hole. By using the elongated hole, the machine follows a hilly terrain better.
